Description

The machine is in very good technical and well-maintained condition and was used for the high-precision finish machining of raceways for main shaft bearings used in wind turbines. In 2004 the machine control system was retrofitted with an R&D MTC 2x-G control. The complete electrical documentation for the control system upgrade is available. Furthermore, the machine has been continuously maintained and selectively overhauled over the past years, with particular focus on ensuring the highest possible machining accuracy down to the µm range.
